| Dawns Danes Contract This two page contract has been entered into on ___________ between Crystal Scates, hereafter called the seller and ______________, hereafter called the buyer. Description of dog: BREED: Great Dane COLOR: _________ Registration type SEX:________ WHELP DATE:_______ FULL SIRE:_________ AKC#______________ LIMITED DAM:_________ **** If sold with limited registration it is agreed that the dog is NOT to be used for breeding. It has been explained to the buyer and is understood that no offspring from this dog can be registered by the AKC. The buyer also agrees to spay/neuter the dog no later than 1 year of age. Proof of spay/neuter will be mailed to the above address. The buyer binds them self to take proper precaution that the dog is not accidentally bred or used for breeding before being altered. If the dog is bred and produces puppies the buyer agrees that the dog and any offspring will be returned to the seller with no money reimbursed. This puppy is guaranteed for 2 years to be free from any life threatening genetic disease. Should it be found that this puppy has a genetic disease the seller must be notified immediately. If proof is shown from a certified veterinarian that the puppy does indeed have a life threatening disease that is genetic in nature the seller agrees to do one of the following. Exchange the puppy with another of its equal, or pay for life saving medical treatment (up to but never exceeding the purchase price of the puppy). 1) I/we agree to give proper emotional, physical, and nutritional care to this puppy. As well as keeping all medical care up to date including but not limited to shots, heart worm, and flea control. 2) I/we agree to raise and train this great dane to become a good citizen, and a loved obedient member of its household (basic obedience training is strongly recommended by the seller). 3) I/we agree that this is to be an indoor dog. This means that it will spend the majority of its time in the house with its family. It will never be tied/chained up or caged outside. The buyer agrees that if there is ever a time that the dog is kept as an outside dog the seller has the right to repossess the dog immediately. No money will be reimbursed. 4) I/we agree not to register the dog with any other registry other than the AKC(american kennel club), UKC(united kennel club), or CKC(canadian kennel club). 5) I/we agree to keep this dog for its entire life. This dog is never to be sold, transfered, traded, or given away without written consent from the seller. If for any reason the buyer cannot keep the dog they must notify the seller immediately. The seller will gladly take the dog back and find it a new home. Whatever money is made from the resale of the dog will then be refunded to the buyer. If it ever found that the dog has been sold, transfered, traded or given away without the consent of the seller the seller may retake possession of the dog (no money will be reimbursed). 6) I/we agree to provide a update and photo of this dog to the seller at 6 months of age ,and once per year thereafter. 7) I/we agree that this is a legally binding contract. By entering into it both parties agree to it in its entirety. If any part of it is breeched the seller has the right to take immediate possession of the dog(no money will be reimbursed). I/we have read and fully understand this contract. By signing it I/we agree to all of its terms and conditions. |
